Now a sophomore, Zidek continues to start on defense while developing her leadership and pursuing biomedical science and engineering studies.

Westmoreland County children got a hands-on science lesson when members of the county’s Forensic Services Division visited The Growing Tree Child Development Center during Community Helpers Week.
Detectives introduced students to the basics of forensic work and fingerprint science, then gave each child an opportunity to make a unique fingerprint to take home.
