The shop at 600 Ligonier Street is a treasure trove of vibrant racks—from shimmering midnight blues to soft, tiered pinks—paired with rows of elegant silver heels and sparkling jewelry displays. But the true "magic" isn't in the fabric; it’s in the stories that return to these walls years later.

A Letter from the Heart: Merrissa’s Full Circle

Recently, a package arrived at the boutique from Georgia. Inside was a letter from Merrissa, a young woman who first walked into Angela’s Angels in 2012. Growing up in a single-parent home where "a roof over our heads and food in our mouths always came first," Merrissa relied on the organization for her 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade proms.

She wrote to Angela Rose O’Brien, the founder, explaining that feeling beautiful without the "burden of cost" was the best gift she could have received. Even after her family faced the hardship of eviction shortly after her senior prom, Merrissa kept her dress safe. Today, she is a mentor for underprivileged girls herself, and she chose to mail her dress back to Latrobe so another local girl could find her own "Cinderella moment".
