Saint Vincent College and Student Leadership in Westmoreland County, PA

Highlighting the president's award achievements and commitment to service

Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, has announced the finalists for its 52nd annual President's Award, the institution's highest student honor. This award recognizes a graduating senior who exemplifies the College's Catholic, Benedictine, and liberal arts values through outstanding academic achievement, student leadership, and community service. The 2026 finalists are Victoria Barone, Cassandra Lanza, Grace Scoville, Kennedy Sheriff, and Carolina Walters. The recipient will be announced during the Spring Honors Convocation on April 22 at the Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica.

 

In addition to the President's Award, the Convocation will feature the presentation of several other honors, including the Honorable Judge Bernard Scherer Award, the John and Theresa Ragan Poetry Award, and various Student Government Association awards. Dr. David A. Dzombak, a distinguished alumnus and professor emeritus at Carnegie Mellon University, will deliver the keynote address.

 

This announcement underscores Saint Vincent College's commitment to fostering student leadership and academic excellence. The President's Award highlights the significant contributions of students who embody the College's values, inspiring the campus community and beyond.
