Turn Your Clutter Into Cash This Spring

Do you have bins of outgrown baby clothes taking up space in the attic? A pile of toys your kids haven’t touched in months? Nursery equipment sitting unused in the spare room? This spring, those items could put real money back in your pocket.

Westmoreland Sale for Kids — now in its 20th year of serving Westmoreland County families — is inviting local families to sign up as consignors for its Spring 2026 sale at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds in Greensburg.

Here’s how it works: you register online, price and tag your items, and bring them in on drop-off day. The sale team handles the rest — organizing and displaying your items across 14,000 square feet of prime shopping space, in front of hundreds of eager, ready-
to-buy shoppers. When the sale ends, you collect your earnings.

Between 250 and 350 local families already participate as consignors each season, and it’s easy to see why. Consigning is a smart way to:

•          Declutter your home and get organized for the season ahead

•          Earn money on items your family no longer needs

•          Give quality items a second life with a local family who will love them

•          Support a community tradition that has made a difference for 20 years

Accepted items include children’s clothing (newborn through size 12), nursery gear, toys, books, outdoor equipment, and more. The Teen and Adult Clothing and More sale — held the last weekend of April and into May — welcomes clothing from size 12/14 up to Adult 3X.

And after the sale wraps up? Any unsold items you choose to donate are given to local nonprofits — so your generosity keeps making a difference in the community long after the last shopper has gone home.
