The Woman Behind the Boutique Has a Philosophy Worth Hearing

Pre-Loved, Perfectly Picked: Meet Simply Drost

There's a version of fashion that makes women feel like they're failing — like the right outfit is always just out of reach or just over budget. Jessica Drost built Simply Drost to push back against that.

Jessica is a Northern Cambria mom who started her business out of a genuine belief that every woman deserves to feel good in what she's wearing — without guilt about the price tag or the environmental cost. Simply Drost is a consignment boutique, which means most of what she carries is pre-loved: clothing, handbags, and accessories that have had a previous life but still have plenty of wear left in them.

"It's all about giving beautiful pieces a second life while making sustainable shopping feel effortless," Jessica explains.

That's not a marketing slogan — it's the actual framework she uses when sourcing inventory. If a piece doesn't fit the Simply Drost feel — cozy, wearable, confidence-building — it doesn't make the cut.

For families watching their budgets, that kind of intentional curation matters. A $25 pre-loved dress from a name brand is a very different purchase than a $25 mystery buy from a clearance rack. Jessica's shoppers know what they're getting because she's already done the sorting, washing, and styling work for them.

For women in Cambria County who want to meet Jessica in person and see the inventory for themselves, pop-up events happen monthly right here in the Blair area — and in Cambria and Westmoreland Counties too.

Tell Jessica you saw it in The Blair Buzz!

Follow the Simply Drost Facebook page to stay current on upcoming pop-up dates near you or browse and shop anytime at www.SimplyDrost.com. Pickup and shipping are both available.
