Lucky Player Hits Jackpot with Winning Numbers 1-11-12-28-38-43 |
A fortunate individual has become $1.42 million richer after purchasing a winning Match 6 Lotto ticket at a Sheetz convenience store in Westmoreland County.
The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that the jackpot-winning ticket was sold at the Sheetz located at 13700 Route 30 in North Huntingdon Township.
The ticket matched all six numbers drawn on Wednesday: 1, 11, 12, 28, 38, and 43.
As a result, the Sheetz store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 48,800 other Match 6 Lotto tickets won prizes in the same drawing.
Lottery officials remind players to check their tickets promptly and sign the back of any winning tickets immediately.
Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
Online winnings will automatically appear in the player's account.
For those interested in trying their luck, Match 6 Lotto tickets are available for purchase at retailers across the state or online through the Pennsylvania Lottery's official platform.
Each ticket costs $2, and players select six numbers from 1 to 49.
A computer randomly generates an additional two sets of six numbers, providing more chances to win.
In recent years, Westmoreland County has seen its share of lottery luck.
In April 2024, a local player won $150,000 on a Powerball ticket purchased at a Sheetz in Irwin.
These wins bring excitement to the community and highlight the potential for life-changing prizes.
As always, the Pennsylvania Lottery encourages responsible play and reminds participants that proceeds benefit programs supporting older residents in the state. |
